NORDICWERKS SKIKLUBB
NordicWerks SkiKlubb Mission
The goal of the NordicWerks SkiKlubb is to provide a fun, safe and challenging environment for athletes of all abilities to strive for Nordic ski racing excellence.
NordicWerks SkiKlubb utilizes a comprehensive training system for all ability levels. The summer training component involves group training throughout the summer. The purpose of these sessions is to bring the athletes along step-by-step to reach their goals. Endurance, technique, speedwork and core strength are the pillars of the NordicWerks training system.
NordicWerks SkiKlubb uses a training pattern that combines the athlete's discipline and hard work with the scientific approach of periodization to ensure athletes arrive at the finish line on time every time. With periodization, the daily training plan varies with each week and consistent attendance is key.
With this in mind, it is highly recommended that all athletes sign on for the maximum amount of training because ski racers are made in the summer and fall months. In order to improve, training needs to be incrementally increased from year to year under the guidance of an experienced coach. Athletes are highly recommended to go on vacation after the summer ski program has ended to maximize their potential within the program to make serious improvement.
The NordicWerks SkiKlubb difference ensures that each individual athlete's training needs are met and drilled into every training session. This methodology has been used for outstanding success for SkiKlubb athletes on every level of the Nordic ski racing globe. This includes high school championship athletes, USSA Junior National Champions and All-Americans, NCAA Championship athletes and athletes on the World Cup and Olympic stage in biathlon and Nordic ski racing.

"As a three-time Olympic biathlete I can look back and say that NordicWerks was a huge influence on the trajectory of my ski career. Filling the summer months with training, and growing as an athlete is essential to being successful in the winter, Deno has a knack for getting the most out of his athletes! Training sessions can be challenging, but pushing your limits is a fundamental way to improve in just about any area in life.
NordicWerks is as much about the team as it is about training! I love skiing because its fun, and working hard with a group of people all while enjoying ski training is a great way to spend your summer! I have great memories of the friendships I made while in NordicWerks, the environment that Deno creates is really special and I'd recommend it to everyone!"
